Dark Triad - Intermediate Bearded Iris

Dark Triad brings dramatic, near-black colour to the late iris display, with matching dark standards and falls accented by black-grape style crests. Intricately coloured beards provide a subtle contrast on this intermediate iris, recognised with an Honorable Mention in 2021.

Variety details: Intermediate bearded iris (IB); near-black standards and falls; black-grape style arm crests; beards white with yellow-orange tips in the throat, becoming blue with brown tips at the ends. Keith Keppel, registered 2016 and introduced in 2017; late bloom (L); 51 cm. Honorable Mention 2021.
